How IVY International FZC collects, uses and protects your personal data under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).
Last updated: 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal data.
IVY International FZC ("IVY International", "we", "us" or "our") is a Free Zone Company licensed in the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP) Free Zone, Emirate of Sharjah, UAE, with its registered office at Block C VL06-074, Sheikh Abdullah Sultan Al Qasimi Street, SRTIP, Sharjah, UAE. We are the data controller responsible for the personal data collected through this website and our services.
We handle personal data in accordance with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, "PDPL"), overseen by the UAE Data Office established under Federal Decree-Law No. 44 of 2021, together with other applicable UAE laws including Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on Combatting Rumours and Cybercrimes and Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection.
When you contact us through our website forms, WhatsApp, email or phone, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, company name, the subject of your enquiry and any information you choose to include in your message. Our web server and standard analytics may also record technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited.
We process your personal data on lawful bases recognised under the PDPL — principally your consent and the necessity of performing or preparing a contract with you. We use it to: respond to your enquiries and prepare quotations; deliver, support and administer our services; maintain our business records; and, where you have consented, send you relevant service updates. We do not sell your personal data.
We will only send you marketing communications where you have given consent, and you may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us or using an unsubscribe option. This is consistent with the PDPL and the UAE Consumer Protection Law, which restrict the use of consumer data for marketing without consent.
We may share your personal data with trusted service providers and partners who assist us in delivering services to you (for example, product suppliers or our education partners), strictly for that purpose and under appropriate confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose personal data where required to comply with a legal obligation, a request from a competent UAE authority, or to protect our lawful rights.
Where personal data is transferred outside the UAE (for example, to a cloud or email provider), we take steps consistent with the PDPL to ensure an adequate level of protection, including transferring only to jurisdictions or providers that offer appropriate safeguards or where you have consented.
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures — including access controls, secure hosting and encryption where appropriate — to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure, in line with the security obligations under the PDPL.
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, to maintain our business and legal records, and to comply with applicable UAE legal and regulatory requirements. When no longer required, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
Subject to the PDPL, you have the right to request access to your personal data; to have inaccurate data corrected; to request deletion of your data; to restrict or object to certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to request data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
